Friendly & stylish B&B in Rye Harbour
The Old Vicarage at Rye Harbour is a delightful Victorian house standing prominently on the edge of the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve in the working village of Rye Harbour.
Located just 2 miles south of Rye town, it is this short distance that helps The Old Vicarage capture the calm feeling of peace and quiet. With extensive views of the river estuary running right down to the sea and across the salt marsh there are ever-changing sights and experiences right on the doorstep.
The Old Vicarage offers the perfect opportunity to get away from it all and completely relax in the warm and friendly atmosphere.
The rooms each have their own charm and have been individually styled to complement the feel of the house. Modern amenities provide the luxuries we have become used to. Tower showers with big shower heads and body jets; comfy beds with quality cotton bedding; White Company toiletries; a good selection of teas and coffee and a large flat screen T.V. Two rooms at the front of the house each have stunning views looking over the saltmarsh to the river and out to sea beyond.
Simon & Tracey know the local area well and are on hand with recommendations for visits or eating out. They are often available with a welcome cup of tea & a piece of home-made shortbread when you get back from your day. Likewise, they are happy to leave you to your own devices if you prefer it that way. The recently re-designed, beach-themed, garden at The Old Vicarage offers many spots ideal for relaxing, try either the pretty summerhouse or the sheltered deck and with only three bedrooms you can always be sure to find the space that suits you.
The Harbour Suite offers a large bedroom with a super-king size bed, separate dressing room and luxury bathroom with roll top slipper bath and large power shower. Views of the harbour. This room can also be arranged as a spacious twin bedded room if requested.
